Mario Piazza

Mario Piazza, graphic designer and architect, has been working in Milan since 1982, dealing with communication, coordinated image and preparation. In 1996 he founded 46xy, a design and communication strategy studio. From 1992 to 2006 he was President of AIAP, the Italian association for visual communication design. Since 1997 he has been a professor of Visual Communication at the Polytechnic of Milan and tenured researcher at the Indigo department of the Faculty of Design in Milan. He was creative director of Domus from 2004 to 2007, and is art director of Abitare.
He designs and curates exhibitions on graphics (among the latest, “Bruno Munari and the Publishers Club”) and publishes books (among the latest “Designing the brand”, “Italic 1.0.
